The Extended Training track is designed for those who feel called to long-term ministry. Over 9-18 months, you’ll engage in advanced biblical training, leadership development, and hands-on internships that prepare you for credentialing and real-world ministry.

    The Ark is a Christian discipleship and ministry training program designed to equip believers with biblical teaching, hands-on outreach experience, and leadership training to deepen their faith and prepare for Kingdom impact.

    The Ark is located in Lone Star, Texas at 210 Williamsburg St.
  • Who can apply to The Ark?
    Anyone who desires to grow spiritually, deepen their knowledge of God’s Word, and gain real ministry experience is welcome to apply.
  • Is The Ark a residential program?
    Yes! The Ark is a residential Christian discipleship program, and students are highly encouraged to live on campus. While living on-site isn’t mandatory, it provides a focused, distraction-free environment that enhances spiritual growth, community building, and ministry preparation.
  • What are the housing arrangements like?
    Students live in shared housing with fellow disciples, creating a strong faith-based community where they support, challenge, and grow together. Housing includes basic furnishings, communal spaces, and shared responsibilities to foster a healthy living environment.
  • Can I live off-campus?
    While off-campus living is an option, on-campus housing is highly recommended to experience the full impact of the discipleship journey.
  • How do I apply?
    To apply, complete the online application form and submit a short video explaining why you want to attend The Ark along with your Christian testimony. You will also need 3-5 references and must agree to the program guidelines.
  • Are there any age requirements?
    Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • What happens after I apply?
    After reviewing your application, we will schedule a short interview call to discuss your goals and answer any questions.
  • How much does it cost to attend The Ark?
    The tuition cost is $750 per month, covering training, materials, and outreach expenses.
  • Is financial aid available?
    While we don’t offer traditional financial aid, we provide fundraising guidance to help students secure church sponsorships, personal fundraising, and support from family and friends.
  • Can I work while attending The Ark?
    Due to the intensive nature of the program, students are encouraged to focus fully on discipleship and ministry training. However, flexible fundraising options are available.
  • What does a typical day look like?
    Students engage in a structured schedule that includes biblical training, personal devotion, outreach ministry, and discipleship groups.
  • What is the dress code?
    Students are expected to dress modestly and appropriately for ministry settings.
